A splinter group of religious extremists calling themselves The Second Law descended from the ancient Sicarii assassin order. For centuries they had been patient. For centuries they prepared. Their plan: throw the planet into chaos, then become the world’s savior.
Man-made meteors decapitated the political leadership and infrastructure of every major superpower nation. Billions more died from the impacts and the ensuing environmental devastation.
